Alienated Media

Source Methodology

Source quality matters more than mystery. Alienated Media evaluates UFO and UAP material by asking what can be checked, who made the claim, and what remains unsupported.

Source Ladder

  1. Primary documents, official records, original statements, and original media.
  2. Named first-hand witnesses with date and location context.
  3. Credible reporting that distinguishes documents from claims.
  4. Historical retellings and archives with clear date context.
  5. Anonymous claims, reposted media, and unsourced summaries.

Common Checks

For sighting material, we look for flight paths, satellite passes, Starlink, drones, balloons, lanterns, meteors, weather, camera artifacts, reflections, insects, and compression issues before treating a case as unresolved.

What We Do Not Do

We do not invent sources, claim proof where there is only uncertainty, or treat fiction and reported cases as the same kind of content.
